Discussion on cooperation between National Environmental Protection Agency and Agha Khan Development Network

Mr. Ashif Hasham, Management, Programme Liaison for AKDN, and Mr. Shodmon Hojibekov, CEO of AKAH, met Schah Zaman Maiwandi Director General of National Environmental Protection Agency, and Eng Ezatullah Sediqi, Deputy in technical affairs of the agency. Schah Zaman Maiwandi, while thanking the efforts in the humanitarian contribution of the AKDN, emphasized the importance of expanding the cooperation in environmental issues. he insisted that the National Environmental Protection Agency (NEPA) appreciates AKDN's cooperation and coordination and it is needy to participate, plan, and collaborate on environmental issues, especially climate change. Then, while praising NEPA's leadership for their cooperation with this office, AKDN promised to assist those affected by climate change. It is worth noting that the Agha Khan Foundation is a humanitarian foundation that helps the affected people in various fields including the affected people from the negative effects of climate change.
